I engaged Branigan Brickwork to undertake building works on an extension to my own home. The extension consisted of a roof extension and ground floor extension, both of which provided challenges in different ways. The house is a mid-terrace Victorian property which was in need of full renovation due to lack of maintainence by the previous owner. Many of the renovations only became apparent once the work had started, and Paul Branigan was proactive in proposing solutions to the structural issues as they arose, and undertook the repairs in a diligent and high quality manner. He was always happy to listen to my design ideas, and happy to accommodate them where possible. Paul was always on site when he said he would be, and worked long hours to ensure he met the deadlines imposed by follow-on trades to ensure the schedule for the building works was maintained.
In addition to the quality of the work, Paul was a pleasure to have on site.
I would be happy to use Branigan Brickwork on future projects, and would be comfortable putting him forward to Clients.

We were first introduced to Branigan Brickwork while we were looking at having a porch constructed on the front of our house. When we met Paul we were very impressed at the fact he always answered the phone every time we called, his pricing was very competitive and he got involved in every stage from planning permission to design as well as the construction. He was a pleasure to work with and we were extremely happy with the finished product. I am an accountant for a large building company so I know a lot of builders but Paul breaks the mould and is not you builder stereo type. A year or so later when we were looking to have a patio laid Paul was the first person we thought of to do the job. We never even bothered to get quotes from anywhere else as we knew he would be the best man for the job. Always completing with the agreed time frame and with no "Hidden Extras" his professionalism and his friendliness made it a pleasure to have him working at our house again. During that time a close friend of ours saw Paul's work and asked him to lay a patio at her house. She too was also really pleased to the point where she would recommend Paul to anybody also. We are very satisfied customers and we will use Branigan Brickwork again for sure.

In late 2015 we set about looking for a builder to carry out a large extension at our home and works residence at Kensworth Bedfordshire. We asked around for people to recommend a builder, and then we filed them down to three builders that we wanted to get quotes from. Over the next
month we met and gained prices from all of them. After careful consideration, we went for Branigan Brickwork. The main reasons we chose them was that the main Director Paul was not only good on cost, but was also interested in the project and we straight away had the feeling that
he wanted to work with us. Paul also quickly noticed a few issues on the design drawings that no one else had, when we went back to our architect he agreed that the mistakes had been made and corrected them. They agreed to work through the winter period starting on the 1st of October, and had an agreed finish date at the end of February. I can honestly say after doing various building projects over the years that these builders were the most organised and schedule driven I have ever come across. Working with Paul made me feel like I could ask anything and it was not too much trouble, even if we did change our minds. Pauls eye for detail and care and attention, ensured we were delivered a quality build. If fact we were so happy with it that we then asked Paul if he would be interested in doing our garden patio. This was also carried out with the same care and attention. I would recommend that anyone thinking of carrying out a building project consider using Branigan Brickwork, especially if you are looking for a value for money Job that you would be 100% happy with.

We hired Paul to build our extension earlier this year. With a porch at the front, and part double / part single storey at the back, it was a big project. We found Paul to be hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy. He even fed our cat whilst we were on holiday! He worked 6 days a week, and was always here on time; sometimes working late to get parts done. He always kept us informed, and even finished the job earlier than expected. We highly recommend Paul. He was polite to us and our neighbours, and our 2 year old daughter loved him.

Paul constructed an extension to my house, just the external envelope. He finished the works quickly and to a high quality, even the building inspector said he had
nothing to worry about with his work. His brickwork and path laying is to a very high standard, he even constructed a feature brick arch for me, that was not on any drawings and he did not charge me for it. He stuck to his price, but I think it helped that the extension had a detailed finalised design. Save that he drinks a lot of tea, he defies the typical stereotype of builders, in that he turns up, gets on with the project, does it well and does not attempt to charge you for numerous extras. I know the type as I am surveyor by profession. Following my project, I recommended him to my neighbour and they were pleased with his work too and I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone else.
